
When Kevin Stitt stopped by Happie Hour, he built a pizza that felt distinctly Oklahoma—bold flavor, local roots, and better ingredients. Built on our Happie Organic Sprouted Spelt Pizza Crust made right here in Oklahoma, this recipe layers cheese first, then sauce, organic pasture-raised bacon, seasoned crumbled pork, pepperoni, and a final sprinkle of cheese on top for the perfect finish.
Ingredients
- 1 Happie Organic Sprouted Spelt Pizza Crust
- 1½ cups mozzarella cheese, divided
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- 4–6 slices organic pasture-raised bacon, cooked and chopped
- ½ pound organic ground pork, cooked and crumbled
- 12–15 slices pepperoni
- Optional: red pepper flakes
- Optional: fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven
Preheat oven to 425°F and place your crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
2. Start with cheese
Sprinkle about 1 cup of mozzarella evenly across the crust.
3. Add the sauce
Spoon pizza sauce over the cheese and gently spread across the pizza.
4. Layer the meat
Top with chopped organic pasture-raised bacon, cooked crumbled pork, and pepperoni slices.
5. Finish with more cheese
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the top.
6. Bake
Bake for 10–12 minutes until the cheese is bubbling, the pepperoni crisps at the edges, and the crust is golden.
7. Slice and enjoy
Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
